Famous for its fine and delicate sand, for its warm sea, calm and peaceful, for its cliffs, for its shoals that can be reached on foot and by swimming, consists of the union of three small white sand beaches that fade into one in the other. The sea is crystalline and hosts a rich underwater flora and fauna ideal for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts. The Grotticelle bay is universally classified among the most beautiful in the world. Wide and jagged, culminates with the diving rock named "Scoglio del Palombaro", the extreme point of Capo Vaticano, with a lighthouse that from ancient times indicates the safe way to sailors.
